How can I use online Bill Payment?

If you would like to use online bill payment with your Clarkston State Bank online banking, please contact us using the “Contact” feature when logged in to your online banking, or you may call or visit one of our branches for assistance in enabling this feature.

How do I add a payment to my Bill Pay?

You can add a new payment by selecting “New Payment” from the “Bill Pay” tab. You will be given the option of creating a “Quick Payment” for a frequently paid bill, or “New Payment” to add a one-time or recurring payment that has the same date every month.

Whom can I pay with Bill Pay?

You can pay anyone in the United States, from your next door neighbor, to the utility company, to a child in college across the country. The only restriction is that you cannot pay any government agencies.

When are bill payments processed?

Recurring and one-time payments entered before 1:00 p.m. EST Monday through Friday will be processed the same day. Any payments entered after 1:00 p.m. EST Monday through Thursday will process the next business day. Payments entered on a Friday after 1:00 p.m. EST will be processed on the following Monday provided there is not a holiday. Any payments scheduled to occur on a weekend or a holiday will process on the business day before the weekend or holiday.

Can I make a payment electronically instead of by check?

Certain companies may be paid through bill pay electronically. Enter the company information on the bill you received when adding a payee, and the system will inform you whether the payment will be sent electronically or by check. Individuals can only be paid electronically using our iPay product.

How do I use iPay?

Our iPay product can send electronic payments to another individual with the use of their e-mail address. You will need to apply to utilize iPay. The application can be found on our website, under Other Services →Mobile Banking, or a Customer Service Representative can assist you at one of our branches. You will receive and e-mail from our Treasury Management department confirming you have been enabled to use this product and providing information sheets and tips on how to use the product.

Can I access Bill Pay on my Mobile Banking App?

You can view your payees and initiate payments to existing payees through the Mobile Banking App. You may not create new payees or edit payments through the Mobile Banking App for security reasons.

Is there a fee to use Online Bill Payments?

There is a fee for using Online Bill Payments. The first 10 bill payment transactions processed are free, then there is a $0.75 charge per tansaction after the firs t10. Fees are charged per Netteller Online Banking ID.
